Our Volunteers

The objectives of NAAMA encompass a wide range of professional, educational, charitable, humanitarian and cultural activities. NAAMA’s activities are broad and member participation is encouraged and welcomed.

NAAMA:

• Is fully accredited by the American Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide CME credits to physicians for scientific conferences.
• Sponsors annual national medical conventions throughout North America.
• Sponsors annual international medical conventions and workshops in the Arab world.
• Functions as an important forum for communication and networking among Arab and Arab-American medical professionals.
• Functions as an important mechanism for medical residents of Arab origin to become familiar with the medical landscape in America and provides support in a wide variety of issues facing residents.
  Supports professional and educational activities aimed at health education and disease prevention in cooperation with community-based organizations and supports general humanitarian activities.
• Provides assistance where possible and serves as an educational resource for medical students and health field-related post-graduate trainees of Arabic descent.
