Education

The National Arab American Medical Association Foundation takes great pride in the worthy projects it has supported since 1990 and hopes to make a greater impact with its philanthropy over the years to come. The Foundation offers two annual scholarship grants of $1,000 each to qualified students of Arabic extraction enrolled in a U.S. or Canadian medical, osteopathic or dental school.

Below is an application form for a scholarship grant. The grants are based upon academic excellence as well as financial need. It is important that applicants fill out the application completely. The request for funds is very competitive and funds are limited. If a question is not applicable, please fill in with the letters “N.A.” All applications must be typewritten and you must submit a copy of your most current 1040 Federal tax return. You must also submit a copy of your parents’ most recent Federal tax return if you are financially dependent upon them. Financial need must be verified for all grants.

The Foundation Board of Trustees meets annually in September to review applications for scholarship grants. Applications must be received by July 1.

After completing the application, please submit it and all supporting materials to NAAMA at:
