Eligibility Requirements

• Age: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

• Education/Enrollment: Applicants must be one of the following:

  • High school students,

  • Premedical students,

  • Medical students,

  • International Medical Graduates (IMGs),

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited institution.

• Heritage / Commitment: Applicants must be of Arab heritage or demonstrate a clear commitment to serving the Arab American community.

• Location & Attendance:

  • Primary location: Houston area.

  • Out-of-area students may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

• Professional Standards: Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, including:

  • Punctuality,

  • Respectful conduct,

  • Confidentiality.

• Compliance & Requirements: Participation is contingent on meeting all facility and organizational requirements, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Background checks,

  • Required immunizations,

  • HIPAA training,

  • Any additional facility-specific requirements.

• Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is not required. Note that some facilities may impose their own citizenship or authorization-to-work requirements.

Failure to meet any of the applicable eligibility or compliance requirements may disqualify an applicant from participation.
