Eligibility Requirements
Age: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Education/Enrollment: Applicants must be one of the following:
High school students,
Premedical students,
Medical students,
International Medical Graduates (IMGs),
Currently enrolled in an accredited institution.
Heritage / Commitment: Applicants must be of Arab heritage or demonstrate a clear commitment to serving the Arab American community.
Location & Attendance:
Primary location: Houston area.
Out-of-area students may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.
Professional Standards: Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, including:
Punctuality,
Respectful conduct,
Confidentiality.
Compliance & Requirements: Participation is contingent on meeting all facility and organizational requirements, which may include but are not limited to:
Background checks,
Required immunizations,
HIPAA training,
Any additional facility-specific requirements.
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is not required. Note that some facilities may impose their own citizenship or authorization-to-work requirements.
Failure to meet any of the applicable eligibility or compliance requirements may disqualify an applicant from participation.
