About

For the first time, NAAMA invited literary and artistic contributions. While alignment with the conference theme was welcomed, it was not required.

"How do you heal yourself? Whether outwardly, through clinical narrative experience, or inwardly through escape into the self — we are looking for your creative, artistic expression of the world that makes you or the world you make."

Selected works will be exhibited and discussed in a panel organized and moderated by Dr. Fady Joudah, physician and internationally recognized poet and author.

Submission Types

  • Writing or Poetry — up to 3 pieces (poetry, fiction, or nonfiction), max 500 words each
  • Language — Arabic or English submissions welcome
  • Previously presented work acceptable
